I would like to leave some feedback regarding the documentation page entitled, "Top Five Tips for Mastering Trongate" which is currently published and accessible at the following URL:
https://trongate.io/documentation/trongate_php_framework/tips-and-best-practices/top-five-trongate-tips
---
2. Never Modify the "Engine" Directory
.......
One exception: During development, you can temporarily set $debug = true in Model.php to inspect SQL queries. Just remember to set it back to false before production.
The exception is no longer active due to a change in architecture. (https://trongate.io/documentation/trongate_php_framework/database-operations/using-debug-mode)
P.S. Trongate is soooo good!

The docs are on GitHub too: https://github.com/trongate/trongate-docs
Might be a good opportunity to submit a quick pull request to remove that outdated advice about setting `$debug = true` in `Model.php`. Could be a nice first contribution for anyone wanting to get involved!

Thanks for that and good call with the pull request thing.
Do you know what? I've never made a pull request in my life! I feel kind of guilty about that. I only recently found out that a pull request gets handled on GitHub and is not - strictly speaking - a Git thing.
Anyway, pull requests are always super welcome. Thanks to anyone who has submitted one and anyone who may submit one in the future.
To save a bit of time, though, I've got ahead and carried out the tweaks myself. The page in question should now be cool.
Thank you, r-evo for that suggestion.

I’m glad I could help.
I came across it while reviewing the documentation for changes, as I have to migrate a site from version 1 to version 2.

G'day r-evo.,
If you still need v1 docs, I still have them here in my repo, converted to Markdown.
https://github.com/DaFa66/trongate-docs-md
And here they are on context7 if you want to use an MCP or ask questions directly:
https://context7.com/dafa66/trongate-docs-md
I may branch this repo to do the same with v2 docs if I get the time and they add value for AI, but as everyone is aware. AI has gotten so much better at reading HTML that Markdown may no longer be necessary. However, context7 needs them this way to pick out the code snippets.
Cheers,
Si

Sorry, I took things off-topic with my migration drama. I was just trying to act like a know-it-all.
The link DaFa provided has been bookmarked by me for a long time, and I even remember the first versions on the original site; I also have a 230-page file named TG-docs.pdf (though an older version works just as well).
I also remember links like
https://vtlsoftware.co.uk/trongatedocs/ and others that are no longer active
I can only imagine what a struggle it was to get this documentation “up and running,” first from Davcon and then to restore it...
edit:
or links like https://dafadev.net/a1/
