Those videos usually show the best possible outcome. I am much more of a backend developer than a designer, so my main concern with these tools is always what the generated markup looks like under the hood. Half the time you get a wall of bloated JavaScript that is a real headache to integrate into clean PHP views.
Would be interested to hear if anyone has found a decent workflow for turning AI layouts into lightweight templates.

My friend, Derek, showed me that demo a few days ago and I was blown away.
It's almost too much to take on board.
I can tell you that this forum was designed using z.ai (just a free AI tool on a website that's similar to Chat GPT). However, it would appear that things have moved on massively within the last few weeks.
I shall be watching this thread with interest.

Thank you both. I did not think about the code behind the design when I first saw the video.
Martin, I understand what you mean now. A design can look really good, but if the code is very complicated then it may not be very useful for someone like me who is still learning PHP.
David, it is interesting that you used z.ai for this forum. I think I will try it and see what it can do. I am also curious to see if anyone finds a good way to use these AI designs in a real PHP project.
